DD Firmware for 2 Doors ACS

Overview of DD Firmware for 2 Doors, 2 Barriers or 2 Gates Access Control Systems

The DD firmware writes (usually at the factory) in A1 controller and manages the 2 electromagnetic locks installed on the 2 door.

When a valid access card have presented, the lock immediately releases, the green indicator light on the reader then illuminates, and an intermittent signal sounds. After the passage time expires, the lock automatically secures the door. If the door remains open after this time, then the system automatically registers a forced entry event.

Conversely, if the card does not have the appropriate access rights, then the red indicator light on the reader activates, and a continuous signal triggered.

Access Control Capabilities

The DD Firmware supports multiple identification methods for secure access: iButton, Proximity cards (card keys), PIN codes, Biometric data.

Limitations in the work of DD Firmware in comparison with D and DDQ Firmware

Although both doors operate independently, they share a common access schedule. The access level assigned to a user for one door also applies to the other. While it is possible to prohibit access to one of the doors, it is not feasible to assign different access levels for these two doors to the same user.

If this access control configuration does not meet your needs, you may consider choosing the DDQ firmware instead.

There are certain restrictions on the issuance of event messages in DD Firmware.

The door passage control option is enabled only in D Firmware .

Entry Sequence:

Both doors operate independently, allowing user to pass through each door as usual:

1. Present the access card to the reader located at the door.
2. Open the "entrance" door.
3. Pass through the door.
4. Close the door behind you.

Upon completion, the system records the "Employee entry. Door 1 (Door 2)" event, marking the passage as successful.

Connection diagrams of controller A1
Although for our solutions, one controller is used (only firmware can be changed), we recommend our customers attentively regard these connection diagrams for various applications. In this catalog, it is presented connection diagrams for micromodules, modules and other equipment to controller A1 for solutions and firmwares, developed by 01-07-2017.
